Rockstar Games is treating GTA Online players to a chilling Halloween event this year with new spooky gameplay modes, rewards, and deals. For two weeks players can experience all things frightening in Los Santos.

Perhaps the most exciting new addition is a limited-time community challenge mode where players must work together to defeat waves of invading zombies overtaking North Yankton. This type of collaborative undead defense mode calls back to the fun of Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare expansion. Taking on swarms of the walking dead promises tense action for players looking for co-op thrills.
In addition, legacy modes like Condemned are returning with double cash and RP rewards for those who dare participate. The event also delivers free demonic masks, face paints, and other cosmetics just for logging in. An exclusive Red Demon Goat Mask can also be earned by completing any two Arena games.
Halloween festivities in GTA Online wouldn’t be complete without creepy deals. Discounts are being offered on various hearses, demon cars, and other vehicles fitting for the occasion. Arena War vehicles and workshops also see 50% discounts. Members of the GTA+ subscription will earn double rewards in versus modes and get access to a special skull-themed Nightshark.
With so much haunting content added, GTA Online is fully embracing the spooky season. From community zombie challenges to FREE demon masks, players have plenty of frightening fun to indulge in over the next two weeks. It seems Los Santos is about to get plagued by its most terrifying event yet.
